The Lafon Arts Center’s High School Artspereince lets every student attending Destrehan and Hahnville High Schools see one of our incredible shows from around the corener to around the globe for FREE! Each additional show is just $10. You must reserve your seats before the performance. Transportation will be provided from each high school parking lot to and from the Lafon Arts Center, but you may also chose to provide your own transportation. For tickets and more information, please see the liaison at your school.

Dallas String Quartet

The Dallas String Quartet is a fusion of classical and contemporary music on both traditional and electric strings. DSQ has played for President’s Obama and Bush, the College Football Playoff, NBA, and NFL organizations. DSQ has sold out concert venues like the House of Blues and symphony halls alike. They have played alongside Josh Groban, Chicago, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

What it really is: a theatrical art form that is an amazingly imaginative combination of dance, story-telling, and sculpture. Founded in 2009, by Adam Battlestein (choreographer and Director for Pilobolus Dance Theatre for 19 years), Catapult catapulted to fame on Season 8 of America’s Got Talent, earning their way to the finals of the NBC-TV hit show.
