The Black Box is Lafon’s most adaptable performance environment — a high-tech, intimate space designed for creativity without boundaries. With collapsible bleacher seating that accommodates 120–145 guests depending on configuration, the room easily transforms from a traditional theater to an immersive, in-the-round experience or an open floor for workshops and rehearsals. 

A full tension grid and advanced technical capabilities support innovative lighting and audio design, making it an ideal space for small theatre productions, recitals, comedy shows, keynotes, student showcases, and experimental work. 

Located on the ground floor with direct load-in access, the Black Box allows for effortless setup and flexible staging — giving students, community groups, and visiting artists the freedom to imagine, create, and perform in a space built for versatility.
