Patron Policies & Information
CLEAR BAGS
Allowed bags include bags smaller than 4 x 6½ inches and clear bags between 4 x 6½ inches and 12 x 12 inches. Any bag larger than 12 x 12 inches is not allowed. (Exceptions may be allowed for diaper and/or medical bags.) All bags are subject to search.
TICKETS
REFUNDS
All tickets and subscriptions are non-refundable.
Refunds are given only in the case of an event cancellation.
EXCHANGES
Tickets purchased as part of a series subscription may be exchanged for another event, if available, up to 48 hours prior to the original ticketed event.
If you are unable to attend your event, you are also able to donate the value of your tickets to the Lafon Arts Center. You may make a donation up until 2 hours prior to show time.
GROUP DISCOUNTS
10 or more tickets= 10% discount
15 or more tickets= 15% discount
20 or more tickets= 20% discount
All group discounts are for tickets for the same performance. Please call the Box Office at 985-331-3670 to get your group discount.
LOST TICKETS
Don’t worry! If you lose your tickets, visit the box office in person with a valid photo ID and we will reprint your tickets.
WILL CALL
For performances taking place in Shell and Black Box Theatres, patrons can pick up Will Call tickets at the Box Office Window labeled “Will Call”.
PLEASE NOTE: an ID is required for all Will Call pick-ups. If someone other than the purchaser is planning on picking up Will Call tickets, please call 985-331-3670 in advance of the performance.
RESALE
Resale Prohibited.
Lafon Arts Center Box Office is the only authorized agent for ticket sales to Lafon Arts Center events. Purchasing tickets through a secondary site or any other seller is at your own risk.
Lafon Arts Center may not be able to honor tickets purchased through a secondary seller. Should an event be cancelled and refunds made available, only tickets purchased through the Lafon Arts Center (online or in person) will be honored.
OTHER
Your ticket is not transferable and is good for the date of issue only.
By your use of this ticket you agree to be photographed, videotaped, or filmed and waive all rights to compensation for such images.
Due to the nature of the performing arts, all dates, programs, and artists are subject to change without notice.
All patrons over the age of 2 must have a ticket to enter the theatre.
Out of respect for other ticket holders, if young audience members are disruptive to other patrons during a performance, families may be asked to leave the theater with their child and may not be offered a refund. Monitors are available in the lobby so you can watch the show with your children until they are ready to go back into the quiet atmosphere of the theater.
No one admitted under the age of 13 without a guardian.
DOORS OPEN
The lobby to the Lafon Arts Center opens one hour before the event start time.
The theatre doors open 30 minutes before the event start time.
LATE SEATING
We attempt to begin all performances on time as indicated on your ticket. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager, based on the specifications of the performance company.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING
To ensure a pleasurable performance for all, the Lafon Arts Center is accessible to persons with disabilities. Accessible seating for persons with disabilities and a companion are available for all shows on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to mention your interest in wheelchair-accessible seating or other accommodations when placing your ticket order by calling (985-331-3670) or stopping by our box office.

The views and opinions expressed by the artists my not necessarily be shared by the Lafon Arts Center or St. Charles Parish Public Schools.
Many of the shows at the Lafon Art Center are designed for families and are “kid friendly,” some are designated as for a more “mature audience”. We make every effort to inform ticket buyers about the suitability of a program for a young person. We encourage parents to enjoy shows with your children and ask that you use your personal judgment when deciding on the appropriateness of a performance for yourself, your children, and other patrons.
PARKING
FREE PARKING in all lots.
Only 20 miles from City Park and 35 miles from downtown Houma.
ACCESSIBILITY
Accessible seating for patrons in wheelchairs and with other needs is available for all performances.
American Sign Language interpretation services are available for most performances with two weeks’ notice. Please contact the Box Office as early as possible to ensure that we can meet your party’s needs.
Wireless hearing enhancement systems are available free of charge to patrons with hearing impairments. The devices are checked out using a government issued ID on a first-come, first-served basis in the main lobby at the Will Call desk before each performance.
WEATHER
It is rare for a performance at the Lafon Arts Center to be canceled due to inclement weather, but in the case that a show is canceled, we will post information on our website, social media, and will make every effort to contact all affected ticket holders.
If the performance is still scheduled but inclement weather makes it impossible for you to attend, please contact the Box Office at (985) 331-3670. Our Audience Engagement Team will help you consider all the options. All ticket donations or exchanges need to be completed at least two hours before the performance, and all tickets are non-refundable.
CELL PHONES, PHOTOS, & RECORDING
All cell phones should be either turned off or set to silent mode. Patrons whose cell phones disrupt a performance will be asked to leave the theater. Please also refrain from texting and using your phone during the show — the light emitting from the screen can be very distracting.
Absolutely no photography or recording devices of any kind are permitted in the theater (unless specified by the artist), including camera cell phones. Use of these devices could subject user to being asked to leave the theater, as it negates contract agreements between the Lafon Arts Center and our visiting artists.
FOOD, DRINK, & SMOKING
We do not permit outside food or drinks into our building. Please take advantage of our concessions offerings!
The Lafon Arts Center and its grounds are tobacco and vape free.
