As the Marketing and Box Office Manager for the Lafon Arts Center, Ms. Hymel oversees the center’s marketing initiatives and audience services, connecting the community with the many performances and programs presented throughout the season. She combines her background as a performer and arts ambassador with a passion for fostering meaningful audience experiences both on and off the stage. 

Before stepping into her current role, Allison worked with the Lafon Arts Center as an Ambassador, Performer, and Stage Director, contributing to the center’s mission of promoting arts education and cultural engagement. She also performed as a Victory Belle at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, where she had the honor of performing aboard the 75th Anniversary of D-Day cruises in commemoration of World War II veterans. 

A proud graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans, Allison studied and performed musical theatre, opera, and sacred music, touring and performing along the East Coast for nearly a decade before returning home to Louisiana in 2014. 

Allison brings a deep love for the performing arts, storytelling, and community connection to everything she does at the Lafon Arts Center
